Trams 2, 7 and 9 resume serving Pasila on 13 July

Tram routes 2, 7 and 9 have been diverted and there has been no tram service to Pasila station for two weeks. On Monday 13 July, the trams will resume their normal routes and replacement bus 2X (Elielinaukio – Opera – Pasila) will be withdrawn. The diversion of tram 2 to Vallila and the diversion of tram 7 to Käpylä will be removed. Tram 9 will resume running via Aleksis Kiven katu in both directions.
The timetables for trams 2, 3, 7 and 9 will change. Routes and new timetables are available in the Journey Planner. Timetables in PDF format are available in the printable timetables.

Route of tram 2 in Itä-Pasila from 13 July:

The route of tram 2 will be extended from Pasilansilta to Itä-Pasila from 13 July. The tram will continue from Pasila station via Asemapäällikönkatu, Ratamestarinkatu, Rautatieläisenkatu and Ratapihantie back to Pasilansilta in front of the station. The tram will start serving the following stops: “Asemapäällikönkatu” (H0619), “Kellosilta” (H0616) and “Messukeskus” (H0614). In the direction of Töölö and Olympia Terminal, the tram will depart from the stop in front of the station as before (bay 34, H0664).

NB! Tram 2 will no longer serve the Ratapihantie stops (H0612 and H0621).

Other changes to tram routes from Monday 13 July:

Porvoonkatu tram stops opened

Trams 6T and 7 will start serving the Porvoonkatu tram stops ((H0261 ja H0262) on 13 July. Link to a separate release.

Change to departure stop at the West Terminal

All tram services from West Terminal 2 will depart from platform 2 (H0238) from 13 July. Both tram 6T and 7 will in the future use the inner track of the terminus loop. The change is due to the Jätkäsaari track work about to commence.

Changes from 20 July

Trams 6 and 6T will resume their normal routes via Bulevardi and Hietalahti on 20 July. At the same time, timetables for routes 6, 6T, 7, 8 and 9 will change. Detailed information will be provided in due course.

Because the timetables will change several times within a short space of time in July, timetables at stops may not be up-to-date at all times.
