Turunväylä will be closed to traffic at Leppäsolmu and traffic will be diverted from Friday 24 July 10pm to Monday 27 July 5am due to bridge demolition work at the intersection of Turunväylä and Ring Road I (Leppäsolmu). The road will be opened earlier if the works are completed ahead of schedule.
The works will affect U line 280. The bus will not serve the "Leppäsolmu" stops E2502 (in the direction of Veikkola) and E1202 (exit stop in the direction of Kamppi). There will be replacement stops along the diversion route on Ring Road I: "Säteri" E1118 in the direction of Veikkola and "Kurkijoentie" E1215, exit stop in the direction of Kamppi.
In addition, the works will affect route 213N on Friday evening: three last services from Kamppi will be diverted but there will be no changes to the stops served. In the other direction (from Kauklahti), the bus will run as usual.
The diversions are expected to cause traffic jams in the area, affecting U line 280 as well as routes 113, 550 and 555, which run via Ring Road I, and potentially other routes serving Leppävaara.
