Update Sun, 2 Aug at 6.30am: The works have been completed ahead of schedule and the trams 1 and 2 are running as usual in Töölö along Arkadiankatu and Runeberginkatu on Sunday 2 August.
Tram routes 1 and 2 will be diverted from Saturday 1 August 8pm to Sunday 2 August 6am due to excavation work at the juntion of Runeberginkatu and Museokatu. The trams will run directly along Mannerheimintie, i..e they will not run via Töölö. According to current information, tram 8 will run as usual. Trams 1 and 2 will not serve the "Sammonkatu" (H0205 and H0206), "Hanken" (H0203 and H0204) and "Luonnontieteellinen museo" (H0201 and H0202, Natural History Museum) tram stops. However, there are buses passing nearby.
