Updated 7 April 9.30am: The West Terminal quarantine measures have proven effective, trams 6T and 7 will resume normal service to the West Harbour from 8 April. The West Terminal tram stops T1 and T2 will again be served.
Tram services to the West Harbour were suspended at the recommendation of health officials last week. Tram services to the harbour will resume on Wednesday morning 8 April.
Tram services to the West Harbour from 8 April:
Trams 6T and 7 will again serve the West Terminal stops “Länsiterm. T1” (H0236 and H0235) and “Länsiterm. T2” (H0237, H0238 and H0239) from Wednesday morning 8 April.
- Tram 6T will run via Kampintori and Ruoholahden villat to the West Terminal. Read more about the diversion of tram 6T due to construction work in Hietalahti.
- Tram 7 will resume its normal route via the West Harbour and Kamppi. The diversion via Itämerenkatu in Salmisaari is removed.
Service until the end of 7 April:
- Tram 6T runs as usual to Huutokonttori, from where it continues via the West Harbour without stopping until the end of 7 April. The tram does not pick up passengers at the “Länsiterm. T1” (H0236 and H0235) and “Länsiterm. T2” (H0237 and H0238) stops. The “Huutokonttori” stops are served.
- Tram 7 turns around in Salmisaari instead of the West Terminal until the end of 7 April. The following stops are not served: “Länsiterminaali T1” (H0236/H0235), “Länsiterminaali T2” (H0237/H0238) and “Huutokonttori” (H0296/H0297) on Tyynenmerenkatu as well as the “Länsilinkki” stops (H0820/H0821). From Ruoholahden villat, tram 7 runs along Itämerenkatu to Salmisaari, serving the stops along the route (“Itämerenkatu” H0215/H0216 and “Ruoholahti (M)” H0213/H0214) as well as at the Salmisaari turnaround.
