Cancelling an auto-renewing subscription

If you wish to discontinue your auto-renewing subscription for a fixed period e.g. during your summer vacation, you can do so at any time without a cancellation fee. You can cancel your auto-renewing subscription by selecting “End subscription” in the HSL app.

You must cancel your subscription before the next payment, i.e. at least two days before the end of the paid period. After the cancellation, your ticket will be valid until the end of the 30-day period that has already been paid for.

When you want to continue using the commuter benefit, simply repurchase the auto-renewing season ticket in the HSL app. Proceed to purchase a season ticket and select auto-renewing subscription as the subscription type and HSL Commuter Benefit as the payment method.

If you pay part of the cost of the season ticket offered in the form of a commuter benefit yourself, it is advisable to inform your employer that you have cancelled your auto-renewing subscription.
