Forced update to the HSL app on 2 April

Due to an upgrade to the search engine of the Journey Planner, a forced update will be performed to the HSL app on 2 April. As a result, users who still have an older version of the app will no longer be able to use the Journey Planner or purchase new tickets. The forced update will not affect the app if your phone always has the latest version of the app.

Remember to keep your app up to date

To avoid surprises in a hurry, we advise to update the app well in advance. The easiest way is to enable automatic updates in your phone's app store. By doing so, you will always be among the first to get the latest version of the app.

After the forced update, you can still show a valid ticket on your phone’s screen without updating to the latest version, but you will no longer be able to use the Journey Planner or purchase new tickets.

In April, you’ll need to have at least version number 6.5.1 or newer in order to use the app. You can check the app version in the app under "More", where the version number is listed at the bottom.
