Bus 59 will no longer serve the following stops in Kalasatama: Vinsentinkatu, Flöitti Dianan kuja, Antareksenkatu, Sörnäistenlaituri, Kalasatama (M) and Tynnyrintekijänkatu. The stops of tram 13 are close to the bus stops no longer served.
In the future, bus 59 will serve bus stops on Itäväylä. The stops can be accessed via the Kalasatama Metro Station or the Redi shopping center. In Herttoniemi, the bus will depart from bay 14 located in front of K-Supermarket Hertta, close to entrance C to the Metro station.
The service frequency of bus 59 will also increase: the bus will run between Herttoniemi and Malminkartano every 10 minutes during weekday daytime and every 12 minutes on Saturdays.
Transport links to/from Herttoniemi will further improve from Saturday 17 August, when the weekend service frequency of trunk bus routes 500 and 510 increases. Read more here.
