The traditional Lucia procession will take place in Helsinki on Saturday, 13 December, from 6pm. Due to the event, tram routes 2, 3, 4 and 7 will be diverted from 5pm to 7pm.
The procession will start from the Senate Square and then continue via Unioninkatu, Aleksanterinkatu, Mannerheimintie, Pohjoisesplanadi and Unioninkatu back to the Helsinki Cathedral.
Trams 2 and 3
Trams 2 and 3 will follow two different diversion routes.
- Tram 2 from Pasila will run to Telakkakatu, where it will change its route number to 3 and then continue towards Kuusitie.
- Tram 3 from Kuusitie will run as usual to the Olympia Terminal, where it will change its route number to 2 and then continue towards Messukeskus via Snellmaninkatu, Liisankatu and Kaisaniemenkatu.

Trams 4 and 7
Tram 4 will be diverted to run via Kaisaniemenkatu, Liisankatu and Snellmaninkatu. Tram 7 will run directly along Kaisaniemenkatu instead of via Kruununhaka.
