Going to EuroBasket 2017? Buy your transport ticket in advance

The EuroBasket 2017 group phase games are taking place at the Hartwal Arena in Helsinki 31 August-6 September. The games attract a large number of spectators and fans are advices to use public transport to get to the venue.

All commuter trains stop at Pasila station which is only a short walk from the venue. L, U, P, N and I trains are operated with extra carriages after the last game each evening.

It is advisable to buy your transport ticket in advance. The most economic option is a season ticket or value tickets bought on HSL’s Travel Card. In addition, you can buy mobile tickets if you have downloaded HSL’s Mobile ticket app on your phone. For more information, see www.hsl.fi/en/mobile-ticket.

A day ticket is a good option if you need to make several journeys during one day or several days and you travel also during the night fare hours 2am-4.30am. 3

Day tickets are available, for example, from R-kiosks in the HSL area, ticket machines and HSL service points.
