HSL is an environmental partner of Flow Festival

HSL is an environmental partner of the Flow Festival, supporting the event to achieve its environmental goals. HSL will provide free bicycle parking as well as additional bus services for festival goers. To celebrate the cooperation, HSL will give out Flow tickets in a prize draw. The draw is open 27 July-9 August.

To participate in the prize draw, log in with your HSL account or create one at www.hsl.fi/customerbenefits. The main prize is a pair of three-day tickets to the event. In addition, HSL will give out three pairs of one-day tickets. The winners of day tickets can freely choose the day for the tickets.

Visiting the festival area

The Flow Festival will take place in Suvilahti, a place easily accessible by bike or public transport. Cyclists can leave their bikes at a bicycle parking provided by HSL, located close to the main entrance. A mobile cycle repair service, Fillarikioski, will provide bike maintenance services in the bicycle parking area or close to it. Please note, that the bicycle parking is not guarded and the Flow Festival or HSL shall not be liable for bikes parked there.

The area can also be conveniently accessed by the Metro: the closest stop is Sörnäinen. In addition, tram routes 6 and 6T, 7A and 7B go to Sörnäinen, which is a short walk away from Suvilahti. Bus 55 goes directly to Suvilahti. In addition, several bus routes run along Hämeentie past the Sörnäinen Metro Station. For detailed route and timetable information, see the HSL Journey Planner at www.reittiopas.fi.

During the festival, the Metro will run two hours longer than usual on Friday 12 August and Saturday 13 August. The Metro will run on the Mellunmäki and Vuosaari lines every 20 minutes, i.e. there will be a train between Ruoholahti and Itäkeskus every 10 minutes. In addition, there will be extra carriages on commuter trains. The following trains from Helsinki will be operated with two units: N train at 1.14am; L trains at 0.59am and 1.59am; on Saturday night also L train at 3.50am.
