HSL and Eckerö Line into cooperation

Eckerö Line begins to sell HSL’s single and day tickets on m/s Finlandia on the Helsinki–Tallinn–Helsinki route from this week.

The cooperation between HSL and Eckerö Line facilitates passengers’ travel on HSL’s transport services from the West Harbour to the city center and back as they can buy public transport tickets in advance.

The tickets sold onboard m/s Finlandia are advance purchase tickets that are activated at card readers when boarding HSL’s vehicles.  The tickets available include HSL’s city internal single tickets for adults and children as well as day tickets.

“We are extremely pleased about this cooperation agreement with Eckerö Line. The availability of tickets on board the ship makes passengers’ travel from the harbor to various locations around the capital region easier,” says  Mari Flink, HSL’s Director of Customer Experience and Sales.

In addition to single tickets, passengers can use HSL Travel Card, mobile tickets or single tickets available from ticket machines or tram drivers.

Trams 7 and 6T run between the West Harbor and Helsinki Central Railway Station.

Tickets are sold at the m/s Finlandia info desk on deck 6.
