Tram routes 1A, 2 and 3 diverted on 13 May

Tram routes 1A, 2 and 3 are diverted on Friday 13 May from 3pm to 6pm because Katariinankatu is closed to traffic due to the opening ceremony of the Helsinki City Museum.

Tram 1A:
· Runs from Käpylä to Pursimiehenkatu using its normal route.
· From Pursimiehenkatu to Käpylä, the tram runs along: normal route - Tehtaankatu - Laivurinkatu - Fredrikinkatu - Bulevardi - Mannerheimintie - Kaivokatu - Kaisaniemenkatu - normal route

Tram 2:
· Runs from the Eläintarha terminus to the Olympia Terminal using its normal route.
· From the Olympia Terminal, the tram runs along Laivasillankatu - Tehtaankatu - Laivurinkatu - Fredrikinkatu - Bulevardi - Mannerheimintie, from where it continues via Kamppi and Töölö to Nordenskiöldinkatu.

The following stops are not served: ”Olympialaituri” (0435), ”Eteläranta” (0433), ”Kauppatori” (0431), ”Senaatintori” (0406), ”Aleksanterinkatu” (0404), ”Mikonkatu” (0425) and ”Rautatieasema” (0302).

Tram 3:
· Runs as usual from Eläintarha via Kallio to Hakaniemi and the Central Railway Station, from where the tram continues along Mannerheimintie, Aleksanterinkatu and Unioninkatu to the Market Square and Eteläranta.
· The tram resumes its normal route from the Olympia Terminal.

The following stops will not be served: ”Olympialaituri” (0435), ”Kaivopuisto” (0437), ”Neitsytpolku” (0439), ”Kapteeninkatu” (0441), ”Eiran sairaala” (0443), ”Viiskulma” (0816), ”Iso Roobertinkatu” (0814), ”Fredrikinkatu” (0804), ”Erottaja” (0802) and ”Ylioppilastalo” (0702).

The trams will switch route numbers (2->3 and 3->2) by the Olympia Terminal and Aurora Hospital.
