Bus 17 will be rerouted to run from Hakaniemi via Kruununhaka, the Market Square, Eira, Hietalahti Market Square and Ruoholahti (M) to Salmisaari. The new route replaces tram 1/1A in Kruununhaka as well as improves transport links in the southern city center. A direct service from Kruununhaka to Viiskulma Health Center will remain available after the route change. The bus will run every 30 minutes Monday to Friday.
Unlike shown on the map below, the bus will not serve the "Kirkkokatu" bus stoo H2009 located by Mariankatu 12 due to construction work. The stop will be opened in January 2018.
