Tram routes 2, 3, 4 and 7 will be diverted on Tuesday 11 June between 5.30pm and 7pm for the Orienteering World Cup Sprint Relay. Tram 4 will be replaced by bus 4X in the direction of Katajanokka. The bus will run from Postitalo (2038) to Merisotilaantori (0417).
Tram diversions on Tuesday 11 June 5.30pm – 7pm
Tram 2
- The tram will operate its normal route to the Olympia Terminal.
- From the Olympia Terminal, the tram will run along Laivasillankatu, Tehtaankatu, Laivurinkatu, Fredrikinkatu and Bulevardi to Mannerheimintie, from where it will rejoin its normal route.
- The following stops will not be served: "Olympialaituri" (0435), "Eteläranta" (0433), "Kauppatori" (0431), "Senaatintori" (0406), "Aleksanterinkatu" (0404), "Mikonkatu" (0425) and "Rautatieasema" (0302).
Tram 3
- The tram will run to Hakaniemi and the Central Railway Station as usual. It will then continue along Mannerheimintie, Aleksanterinkatu and Unioninkatu to the Market Square and Eteläranta.
- From the Olympia Terminal, the tram will operate its normal route.
- The following stops will not be served: "Olympialaituri" (0435), "Kaivopuisto" (0437), "Neitsytpolku" (0439), "Kapteeninkatu" (0441), "Eiran sairaala" (0443), "Viiskulma" (0816), "Iso Roobertinkatu" (0814), "Fredrikinkatu" (0804), "Erottaja" (0802) and "Ylioppilastalo" (0702).
Tram 4
- The tram will run to a temporary terminus in Kolmikulma. The tram will be replaced by bus 4X running between Postitalo (2038) and Merisotilaantori (0417).
Tram 7
- The tram will run directly along Kaisaniemenkatu.
- The following stops will not be served: "Mikonkatu" (0424 and 0425), "Aleksanterinkatu" (0403 and 0404), "Senaatintori" (0405 and 0406), "Hallituskatu" (0450 and 0451), "Kansallisarkisto" (0452 and 0453) and "Snellmaninkatu" (0454 and 0455).
