May Day Eve, Thursday 30 April
- A Friday service will operate.
- Neighborhood routes will operate a Thursday service.
- Tram routes will be diverted between 2pm and 9pm due to the crowning of the Manta statue at Market Square. Replacement bus 3X will operate between 2pm and 9pm.
The Metro will run later than usual
The Metro will run every 15 minutes until the end of service. Between Itäkeskus and Kivenlahti, the service frequency will be 7.5 minutes.

- From Kivenlahti to Mellunmäki at 1.08am and to Vuosaari at 1.16am
- From Vuosaari to Kivenlahti at 1.07am
- From Mellunmäki to Kivenlahti at 1.14am
- From Rautatientori to Kivenlahti at 1.36am
- From Rautatientori to Mellunmäki at 1.38am and to Vuosaari at 1.46am
Additional I and P train services
- I trains from Helsinki: 0.36am, 1.06am, 1.36am and 2.06am
- I trains from Helsinki Airport: 1.04am, 1.34am, 2.04am and 2.34am
- P trains from Helsinki: 2.18am, 2.48am, 3.18am and 3.48am
- P trains from Helsinki Airport: 2.52am, 3.22am, 3.52am and 4.22am
U, L, I, P and K trains will have extra carriages in the evening and at night.
May Day, Friday 1 May
- A Sunday service will operate.
- Night services will operate on Friday night.
- E, U, I, P and K trains will have extra carriages.
Additional services to Kaivopuisto
- Bus 20 will have the following additional services from Munkkivuori: 9.16am, 9.36am, 9.56am, 10.16am and 11.04am.
- Bus 20B will run from Kamppi to Eira approximately every 7 to 10 minutes between 10am and 8pm.
- Tram 2B (Kaivopuisto–Market Square–Central Railway Station) and tram 3B (Kaivopuisto–Viiskulma–Central Railway Station) will run approximately every six minutes between 9am and 9pm.
- Trams 4 and 10 will run every 10 minutes between 9am and 9pm.
Potential delays due to May Day marches
- 11.15am to 12.15 noon: Traditional workers' May Day march in Helsinki: Hakaniementori – Siltasaarenkatu – Unioninkatu – Pohjoisesplanadi – Mannerheimintie – Kansalaistori.
- From 1pm: "Vappu & Jeesus -marssi" (March for Jesus), departs from Senate Square. Route: Senate Square – Unioninkatu – Pohjoisesplanadi – Mannerheimintie – Eteläesplanadi – Eteläranta – Pohjoisesplanadi – Snellmaninkatu – Senate Square.
- Tram 7 will run directly along Kaisaniemenkatu from 1pm to 2pm. Kruununhaka will not be served.
- 4pm to 4.30pm: A May Day parade organized by students of the Aalto University School of Business. Route: Eteläinen Rautatiekatu – Arkadiankatu – Mannerheimintie – Eteläesplanadi.
