We are conducting a survey on how passengers arrive at ports in Helsinki

We will be interviewing passengers in September and October to find out what modes of transport they use to get to passenger ports in Helsinki when departing on a ferry. Your responses will help us improve public transport.

If you are going to take a ferry from one of the ports in Helsinki, you may come across an interviewer who will ask you to complete a short survey. We will be interviewing passengers to find out from where and by what modes of transport they come to the ports.

Interviews will be conducted in the West Terminal, Olympia Terminal, Katajanokka Terminal and at Vuosaari Harbor between 13 September and 11 October 2022. The interviews will be conducted by Taloustutkimus Oy.

If you are asked to participate, please do so. Answering the questions will only take about five minutes.

Your responses will help us improve public transport. We will use the results to plan transport links to the ports as well as to develop the Helsinki region traffic forecast model.

The survey report will be published on our website.

We are conducting the survey in partnership with the Port of Helsinki, the City of Helsinki and Traficom.

Thank you for participating!
