There will be changes to commuter train services between Helsinki and Kerava over the weekend 11-12 June due to track work. On the night of Saturday/Sunday, commuter trains will not stop at Käpylä and Oulunkylä and on Sunday, K trains will run only between Tikkurila and Kerava for about two hours.
Trains not stopping at Käpylä and Oulunkylä, additional services on route 64
Sat 11 June 11pm – Sun 12 June 6am:
I, K, N, P and T trains will not stop at Käpylä or Oulunkylä, i.e. Käpylä and Oulunkylä will only be served by buses.
Sun 12 June 6am-12noon:
I, K and N trains from Käpylä and Oulunkylä in the direction of Helsinki will run but they will not run in the direction of Tikkurila. Passengers going from Helsinki and Pasila to Käpylä and Oulunkylä can change trains at Pukinmäki. Northbound journeys from Käpylä and Oulunkylä have to be made via Pasila.

From Oulunkylä and Käpylä to the city center:
Route 64 (Rautatientori-Mäkelänkatu-Oulunkylä-Itä-Pakila) will stop at the Panuntie and Tinasepäntie bus stop next to Käpylä station and at the Oulunkylä market square stop next to Oulunkylä station. The stop closest to Pasila station is "Pyöräilystadion”. The bus leaves from bay 1 at Rautatientori.

Between Käpylä and the city center:
Bus routes 67, 67N, 72, 72N, 611, 614 and 615 running between Rautatientori and Käpylä station stop at the Käpylä station bus stop. In addition, routes 64 and 66 run to Rautatientori, but they stop at the Tinasepäntie stop in the direction of the city center and the Panuntie stop in the direction of Länsi-Pakila.
To the north from Käpylä:
Route 69 (Kamppi-Pasila-Käpylä-Pukinmäki-Malmi) runs from Kamppi until 0.15pm on Saturday night.
To the north from Oulunkylä:
There is no direct replacement for trains but routes 69, 72 and 554K run along Käskynhaltijantie via Pukinmäki station.
K trains run only between Tikkurila and Kerava 10am-12.15noon
K trains will not run between Helsinki and Tikkurila on Sunday 12 June approximately 10am-12.15noon. However, the trains run as usual between Tikkurila and Kerava.
In the direction of Kerava, the following K trains from Helsinki to Tikkurila are cancelled: 10.16am, 10.31am, 10.46am, 11.01am, 11.16am, 11.31am, 11.46am and 12.01noon.
From Kerava, the following K trains will run only until Tikkurila: 10.17am, 10.32am, 10.47am, 11.02am, 11.17am, 11.32am, 11.47am and 12.02noon.
These trains leave from track 5 both at Tikkurila and Kerava.
Changes to departure platforms at Pasila
There will be changes to the departure platforms of main line trains at Pasila station from Saturday evening. Up-to-date information on the departure platforms will be available on the information screens at the station.
