On Sunday 20 November, tram routes 2, 3, 4, 5, 7A and 7B will be diverted from about 4pm to 5 pm due to the Christmas Street Opening Parade.
Tram 2 will run from Nordenskiöldinkatu to the Olympia Terminal along Simonkatu, Mannerheimintie, Bulevardi, Fredrikinkatu, Laivurinkatu and Tehtaankatu. From the Olympia Terminal, the tram will run towards Nordenskiöldinkatu via Eteläranta, Market Square, Katariinankatu, Snellmaninkatu, Liisankatu, Kaisaniemenkatu, Central Railway Station and Simonkatu.
The tram wil not serve the following stops: Rautatieasema (0301), Mikonkatu (0424 and 0425), Aleksanterinkatu (0403 and 0404), Senaatintori (0405 and 0406), Kauppatori (0430), Eteläranta (0432) and Olympialaituri (0434).
Tram 3 will use its normal route from Nordenskiöldinkatu to the Olympia Terminal. From the Olympia Terminal to Nordenskiöldinkatu the tram will run via Eteläranta, Market Square, Snellmaninkatu, Liisankatu and Hakaniemi.
The tram will not serve the following stops: Olympialaituri (0434), Kaivopuisto (0436), Neitsytpolku (0438), Kapteeninkatu (0440), Eiran sairaala (0442), Viiskulma (0815), Iso Roobertinkatu (0813), Fredrikinkatu (0803), Erottaja (0801), Ylioppilastalo (0701), Rautatieasema (0301), Kaisaniemenkatu (0303) and Kaisaniemenpuisto (0305).
Trams 2 and 3 will only run in one direction (counter clockwise) in the southern parts of central Helsinki and change route numbers by the Olympia Terminal.
Tram 4 will run via the Central Railway Station, Liisankatu and Snellmaninkatu to Katajanokka. The tram will not serve the Pysäkit Ylioppilastalo (0401 and 0402), Aleksanterinkatu (0403 and 0404) and Senaatintori (0405 and 0406) tram stops.
Tram 5 will run via Snellmaninkatu and the Central Railway Station to Kolmikulma. The tram will not serve the Mikonkatu (0424), Ylioppilastalo (0402), Aleksanterinkatu (0403 and 0404) and Senaatintori (0405 and 0406) tram stops.
Trams 7A and 7B will run via the Central Railway Station, i.e. they will not serve Aleksanterinkatu, Snellmaninkatu and Liisankatu. The following stops will not be served: Ylioppilastalo (0401 and 0402), Aleksanterinkatu (0403 and 0404), Senaatintori (0405 and 0406), Hallituskatu (0450 and 045), Kansallisarkisto (0452 and 0453) and Snellmaninkatu (0454 and 0455).

The Christmas Street Opening Parade will leave from the Senate Square at about 4.10pm and proceed along Aleksanterinkatu to Mannerheimintie, Pohjoisesplanadi and Unioninkatu back to the Senate Square.
