Tram routes 2, 3, 4 and 7 will be diverted on Thursday evening 13 December approximately 5.45pm-7pm due to the Lucia Parade. Replacement buses 3X and 4X will be in operation.
Diversion route of trams 2 and 3 and replacement bus 3X
Trams 2 and 3 will run via Mannerheimintie, Bulevardi, Fredrikinkatua and Tehtaankatu to the terminus of tram 1, i.e. the "Telakkakatu" stop on Pursimiehenkatu.
Tram 2 will not serve the following stops: "Ylioppilastalo", "Aleksanterinkatu", "Senaatintori", "Kauppatori", "Eteläranta", "Olympiaterminaali".
Tram 3 will not serve the following stops: "Olympiaterminaali", "Kaivopuisto", "Neitsytpolku", "Kapteeninkatu", "Eiran sairaala".
Replacement bus 3X will run from Viiskulma along Laivurinkatu, Tehtaankatu and Laivasillankatu to Eteläranta.
The bus will leave from the "Viiskulma" stop (H1174) located on Pursimiehenkatu (stop in the Journey Planner). From Eteläranta, the bus will leave from the "Eteläranta" tram stop (H0433) (stop in the Journey Planner).
Diversion route of tram 4 and replacement bus 4X
Tram 4 will run between Munkkiniemi and Kolmikulma. There will be no tram service between Lasipalatsi and Katajanokka.
The following stops will not be served: "Ylioppilastalo" (on Aleksanterinkatu), "Aleksanterinkatu", "Senaatintori", "Ritarihuone", "Tove Janssonin puisto", "Kauppiaankatu", "Vyökatu", "Puolipäivänkatu", "Merisotilaantori".
Replacement bus 4X will run between Postitalo and Katajanokka along Postikatu, Kaivokatu, Kaisaniemenkatu, Liisankatu, Pohjoisranta, Kanavakatu, Satamakatu, Kruunuvuorenkatu, Linnankatu and Merikasarminkatu.
The bus will leave from the "Postitalo" bus stop H2038 on Postikatu (stop in the Journey Planner). From Katajanokka, the bus will leave from the "Merisotilaantori" stop of tram 4.
Diversion route of tram 7
Tram 7 will run between Central Railway Station and Hakaniemi via Kaisaniemenkatu in both directions. Kruununhaka and Aleksanterinkatu will not be served.
The following stops will not be served: "Snellmaninkatu", "Kansallisarkisto", "Hallituskatu", "Senaatintori", "Aleksanterinkatu", "Mikonkatu".
