Some trains to Helsinki not stopping at Ilmala station 11-13 April, changes to departure platforms at Pasila station 10-14 April

Some tracks at Pasila station will be temporarily closed 10-14 April due to track work. Some trains to Helsinki will not stop at Ilmala station from Saturday evening to Monday morning. In addition there will be changes to departure platforms at Pasila station from Friday evening to Tuesday morning.

On Sunday 12 April and Monday 13 April, there will be changes to the timetables of E, U and L trains. Some services will e cancelled. 


Trains not stopping at Ilmala station 11-13 April

On Holy Saturday, 11 April, the following trains will not stop at Ilmala station:

  •  A, L and I trainst to Helsinki from Ilmala 10pm-11.35pm
     

On Easter Sunday, 12 April, the following trains will not stop at Ilmala station:

  •  A, L and I trains to Helsinki from Ilmala 09.35am-11.35pm
     

On Easter Monday, 13 April, the following trains will not stop at Ilmala:

  •  A, L and I trains to Helsinki from Ilmala 09.35am-11.35pm


At Pasila station, these trains will use platform 7 instead of platform 10.

Alternative transport links: bus 23 or 59 from the "Ilmalanrinne" or "Ilmalantori" bus stop. Alternatively, you can first take a train to Huopalahti and change to a train going in the opposite direction there. If traveling from the direction of Huopalahti to Ilmala, change trains at Pasila station. 

Other trains will stop at Ilmala as usual.

 

Changes to departure platforms at Pasila station 10-14 April

 

Coastal Line trains and trains to Helsinki (platforms 7-11)

Platform 10 will will be closed and L and P trains in the direction of Huopalahti as well as L and I trains to Helsinki will use platform 11 during the following times

  • Fri 10 April 11.35pm to Sat 11 April 6am
     

Platforms 8, 9 and 10 as well as platform 3 at Ilmala station will be closed Sat 11 April 10pm to Tu 14 April 5am4. klo 05.

Sat 11 April 10pm-11.35pm:

  •  A, L, E, U and I trains to Helsinki as well as long-distance trains to Helsinki will use platform 7 instead of platforms 10 and 8.
  •  A, L, E, U and P trains in the direction of Huopalahti as well as westbound long-distance trains will use platform 11.
     

Sat 11 April 11.34pm to Sun 12 April 9.35am:

  •  L and P trains in the direction of Huopalahti, L and I trains to Helsinki and long-distance trains will depart from platform 11
     

Sun 12 April 9.35am-11.35pm:

  •  A, L, E, U and I trains to Helsinki as well as long-distance trains to Helsinki will use platform 7 instead of platforms 10 and 8
  •  A, L, E, U and P trains in the direction of Huopalahti as well as westbound long-distance trains will use platform 11
     

Sun 12 April 11.35pm to Mon 13 April 9.35am:

  • L and P trains to Huopalahti, L and I trains to Helsinki as well as westbound long-distance trains will depart from platform 11
     

Mon 13 April 9.35am-11.35pm:

  • A, L, E, U and I trains to Helsinki as well as long-distance trains to Helsinki will use platform 7 instead of platforms 10 and 8
  • A, L, E, U and P trains in the direction of Huopalahti as well as westbound long-distance trains will use platform 11
     

Mon 13 April 11.35pm to Tu 14 April 5am:

  •  L and P trains in the direction of Huopalahti as well as L and I trains to Helsinki will depart from platform 11

 

In addition, E, U and Y trains to Helsinki will use platform 9 instead of platform 8 from 14 April. Platform 8 will be temporarily out of use.

The Journey Planner shows the usual departure platforms for the trains, the changes to departure platforms do not show in real-time. Other changes to departure platforms are possible and some trains may have to wait for oncoming trains to pass during the demolition works.
