There will be changes to bus stops at Itäkeskus bus terminal on 15–17 December due to resurfacing works. Bus 54 will depart from a temporary stop on Turunlinnantie and there will be changes to the termini of all arriving buses. In addition, the works will affect pedestrian routes in the area.
Route 54
The departure and arrival stop of route 54 (bay 2, H4302) will be temporarily relocated to the other side of Turunlinnantie. The stop will be located at about 50 meters from the stop of night bus 94N to Rautatientori (H4271).
The walking distance from/to the stop for route 54 to/from the metro station will be about 100 meters longer than usual.
Arrival stops
The terminus for buses arriving at Itäkeskus Metro Station will be bay 6. The usual arrival stops (bays 12-14) will be closed during the works.
Looking from the station, bay 6 is slightly closer to Turunlinnantie than the usual alighting stop. There will be a temporary pedestrian crossing from the temporary terminus in the direction of the Itis shopping center.
The walk to the metro station will be some 50 meters longer than usual.
