There will be changes to E, L and U train services from the night of Saturday 23 October to the night of Sunday 24 October due to switch replacement work in Kauniainen.
On Sunday 24 October, all E trains will be cancelled and U trains from Kirkkonummi will operate to E train timetables, i.e. 16 minutes behind their normal schedule. There will also be service changes for L trains.
Timetable changes and cancelled trains
Night of Saturday 23 October/Sunday 24 October
- The 2.03am L train from Helsinki will wait 5 minutes at Leppävaara station for a train heading in the opposite direction to pass.
From Sunday morning to evening 24 October
- All E trains are cancelled.
- All U trains from Kirkkonummi to Helsinki will depart 16 minutes later than usual.
- The trains will depart at 23 and 53 minutes past the hour, i.e. the trains will operate from Kauklahti to Helsinki to E train timetables.
- U trains from Helsinki will run as usual.
- There will be an additional U train from Kirkkonummi to Helsinki at 9.23am.
- Between 6.03am and 9.03 am, L trains from Helsinki will wait 5 minutes at Leppävaara for trains in the opposite direction to pass.
Sunday evening 24 October and the night of Sunday 24 October/Monday 25 October
- L trains from Kirkkonummi which usually depart at 10.37pm, 11.07pm and 11.37pm, will depart 21 minutes later than usual. In other words, the trains will depart at 10.58pm, 11.28pm and 11.58pm.
- The 0.08am L train from Siuntio will depart 5 minutes later than usual at 0.13am.
- The 11.03pm, 11.33pm and 0.03am L trains from Helsinki will wait 5 minutes at Leppävaara for trains in the opposite direction to pass.
