Changes to access to platforms 14–17 at the Central Railway Station from Thursday 4 November
Construction of the Kaisa Tunnel affects access routes at the Central Railway Station. The walking distance to platforms 14–17 increases from 4 November. The change affects A, I, P, E, Y, U and X trains.
The changes are due to the construction of the Kaisa Tunnel. Please allow more time to access platforms 14–17 than you normally would. The changes will remain in place until early fall 2022.
Changes from Thursday morning 4 November:
- Platforms 18 and 19 are again open throughout their length and the route to these platforms shortens.
- Platform 17 is shortened and trains using this platform will stop 100 meters further north along the platform. The walking distance to the trains increases.
Changes from Friday morning 5 November:
Platforms 14, 15 and 16 will be shortened and trains using these platforms will stop 100 meters further north along the platforms. The walking distance to the trains will increase. From 8 November, construction work will be carried out at the beginning of platforms 14–17.
