Some school bus routes to switch to winter timetables before 15 August – Additional services 10 to 12 August

The start date of the autumn term for schools varies from one municipality to another. This affects the timetables of school bus routes in the HSL area. Most of HSL public transport will switch to winter timetables on Monday 15 August, but some routes will switch to winter timetables before this.

In addition, some routes will have additional services between 10 and 12 August.

 

Additional services and changes to school bus routes between 10 August and 12 August 2022

Espoo

  • Bus 138: winter timetables will run from 11 August. Services from Matinkylä at 7.44am, 8.34am and 9.15am and from Matinkallio at 8.10am, 8.54am and 9.35am.
  • Bus routes 225 and 225K: additional services on Thursday 11 August from Leppävaara at 8.20am (225K) and from Högnäs at 12noon (225K). The routes will switch to winter timetables on Friday 12 August.
  • Bus 236: additional service on 11 August from Leppävaara at 12.50pm On Friday 12 August, there will be additional services from Serana at 8.49am and 9.41am and from Leppävaara at 2.10pm.
  • Bus 239: additional service on 11 August from Kalajärvi at 9.25am.
  • Bus 243: additional services on 11 August from Veikkola at 8.20am and from Espoo station at 12.29pm. On Friday 12 August, there will be additional services from Veikkola at 8.20am and 1.04pm and from Espoo station at 12.29pm.
  • Bus 244: additional services on 11 August from Siikaniemi at 8.28am and from Espoo station at 12.11pm. On Friday 12 August, there will be additional services from Espoo station at 1.12pm and 2.12pm
  • Bus 246: additional services on 11 August from Espoontori at 7.32am, 8.10am (246KT), 8.35am and 12.35pm (246K) and from Röylä at 7.58am (246K), 8.46am (246T), 9.01am (246K) and 1.06pm. On Friday 12 August, there will be additional services from Espoontori at 7.06am, 8.25am (246KT), 1.13pm (246K) and 2.37pm (246K) and from Röylä at 7.32am (246K), 9.01 (246T), 1.44pm and 3.08pm.
  • Bus routes 348 and 349 will switch to autumn school day timetables on Thursday 11 August.

Vantaa

  • Bus 311: on Thursday 11 August and Friday 12 August, the services from Hämeenkylä to Myyrmäki at 8.29am and 2.38pm operating to the normal summer timetable will run on route 311A, Hämeenkylä – Myyrmäki - Tikkurila.
  • The 3.19pm service from Myyrmäki to Hämeenkylä will run on route 311A, Tikkurila – Myyrmäki – Hämeenkylä (from Tikkurila at 1.26pm).
  • Bus 433K: on Thursday 11 August and Friday 12 August, additional services from Martinlaakso at 12.33pm and 1.33pm.
  • Buses 443 and 443K: on Thursday 11 August and Friday 12 August, additional services from Kivistö at 12.31pm (443K) and 1.31pm (443K) and from Vestra at 8.00am (443K), 9.00am (443K), 9.45am (443K), 1.01pm and 2.01pm.
  • Bus 445: on Thursday 11 August and Friday 12 August, additional services from Kivistö at 12.15pm and 1.25pm and from Reuna at 9.46am and 12.45pm.
  • Bus 571: on Thursday 11 August and Friday 12 August, additional services from Tikkurila at 6.58am, 7.55am, 8.29am, 12.56pm, 2.23pm, 2.55pm and 3.24pm and from Varisto at 7.05am, 7.34am, 8.04am, 1.13pm, 1.45pm and 2.13pm.
  • Bus 588 will switch to winter timetables on 11 August.

Helsinki

  • Bus 839 will switch to winter timetables on 11 August.

Kirkkonummmi

  • Bus routes 171, 172(V), 173(Z,K,N), 174Z, 901(K), 902(K), 903(K), 906, 907, 908(K), 909(K) and 911 in Kirkkonummi and bus routes 181 and 182 serving Siuntio will switch to autumn school day timetables on Wednesday 10 August.

Siuntio

  • Bus routes 912–917 serving Siuntio will switch to winter timetables on 11 August.

Tuusula

  • In Tuusula, bus routes 642(K), 665(A,K,N), 961(B), 964(K), 965(K), 966 and 967(K) will switch to autumn school day timetables and routes on Wednesday 10 August. Route 965T will stop running on 9 August.

Sipoo

  • Bus 987B will have additional services on 9 August from Nikkilä at 8.26am and 12.20pm and from Pornainen at 12.26pm, 1.10pm, 2.05pm and 2.55pm.
  • Bus 989B will have additional services on 9 August from Pornainen at 8.15am, 1.09pm, 2.05pm and 2.55pm and from Pihlajamäki at 8.36am, 12.40pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm.
  • Bus routes 785, 787-788, 831, 841-844, 982, 984, 986-987, 989, 992-996 serving Sipoo will switch to winter timetables on 10 August.
