Tram routes 1, 2 and 8 will no longer be diverted and the trams will resume their original routes in Töölö from Monday 29 August.
Route changes on 29 August 2022
- Trams 1 and 2 will again run along their regular route via Töölö between the Opera House and Lasipalatsi.
- Tram 8 resumes its route to Ruoholahti and Jätkäsaari via Töölö.
- The “Töölöntori” stop is closed until further notice due to construction work. According to estimate, the stop will be opened during September. The bus stops on Topeliuksenkatu and Runeberginkatu are open as usual, so you can use the Journey Planner to find alternative bus services.
Tram routes from 29 August 2022
The disruption in tram services will continue two weeks longer than planned due to delays in the manufacturing of railway parts and in the construction of the tramway. Even though tram services will resume their original routes, exceptional traffic arrangements for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers will remain in place in the area.
