A demonstration affects public transport on Mannerheimintie on Thursday 6 October

Update: Mannerheimintie opened to traffic around 8:30 p.m. A demonstration taking place on Thursday 6 October affects public transport in downtown Helsinki. There are changes to bus and tram services.

Update: Mannerheimintie opened to traffic around 8:30 p.m. A demonstration taking place on Thursday 6 October from 5pm affects bus and tram services on Mannerheimintie.

 

Buses from the Kamppi bus terminal

Buses 63, 212 and 213 and U line buses U280, U455, U455A, U456, U457, U465 which operate from the Kamppi bus terminal run via Topeliuksenkatu and Runeberginkatu between Töölöntulli and Kamppi from 5pm.
 
U line U280 is diverted between Meilahti and Kamppi to the Kamppi bus terminal to run along Haartmanninkatu - Topeliuksenkatu - Runeberginkatu - Arkadiankatu - Fredrinkinkatu - Eteläinen Rautatienkatu.

Buses 63, U455, U455A, U456, U457, U465 run between Töölintulli and along Topeliuksenkatu - Runeberginkatu - Arkadiankatu - Fredrinkinkatu - Eteläinen Rautatienkatu.

Bus 848 runs between Reijjolankatu and Kamppi to the Kamppi bus terminal along Nordenskiöldinkatu - Topeliuksenkatu - Runeberginkatu - Arkadiankatu - Fredrinkinkatu - Eteläinen Rautatienkatu.

The above buses do not serve Mannerheimintie between Meilahti / Töölöntulli / Reijolankatu – Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu.

Elielinaukio buses

Buses operating along Mannerheimintie and terminating at Elielinaukio run as usual if possible. However, delays of 15-20 minutes are expected to the services, as well as cancellations due to the delays.
 

Tram services

All tram routes run via Töölö, i.e. trams 4 and 10 do not serve Mannerheimintie between the Opera and Lasipalatsi. The Hesperian puisto and National Museum stops are closed.
