Bus and train services when switching to winter time on Sunday 30 October

Finland will switch to winter time on the night of Saturday 29/Sunday 30 October. Clocks will go back an hour at 4am on Sunday 30 October.

Saturday service will run on summer time. In other words, also early morning services will run on summer time. Beginning from Sunday morning service, transport services will operate on winter time. See the weekly timetables in the printable timetables to check when the Saturday service ends and Sunday service starts.

Bus routes 570 and 600 will have the following additional services on winter time:

  • Bus 570 at 3.14am and 3.44am from Mellumäki and at 3.14am and 3.44am from Helsinki Airport
  • Bus 600 at 3.11am and 3.41am from the Railway Square (Rautatientori) and at 3.28am and 3.58am from Helsinki Airport.

Commuter trains with departure times before 3am will run on summer time and trains with departure times after 4.30am will run on winter time.

Commuter trains departing between 3am and 4.30am will run as follows:

  • L trains from Helsinki to Kirkkonummi at 3.03am and 4.03am will operate on summer time. There will be no L train from Helsinki at 4.03am winter time.
  • K train from Helsinki to Kerava at 3.21am will operate on summer time. There will be no K train from Helsinki at 3.51am winter time.
  • T train from Helsinki via Kerava to Riihimäki at 4.21am will operate on winter time.
  • T train from Riihimäki to Helsinki at 3.55am (from Jokela at 4.12am and from Kerava at 4.32am) will run on winter time. There will be no T train from Riihimäki at 3.55am summer time.
