Fintraffic, the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency, HSL and VR have together decided to put in place a reduced commuter train service in the capital region on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 December.
This means that A and K trains run every 20 minutes. Other commuter trains operate to their normal timetables.
The operators are monitoring the situation and passengers will be informed of any further service changes. Up-to-date information is available in the Journey Planner and on the HSL app.
- A trains from Helsinki: From 06.43am the trains run every 20 minutes departing from Helsinki at 3, 23 and 43 minutes past the hour.
- From the 6.03pm train onwards, a normal service will operate.
- A trains from Leppävaara: : From 7.06am the trains run every 20 minutes, departing from Leppävaara at 6, 26 and 46 minutes past the hour.
- From the 6.26pm train onwards, a normal service will operate.
- K trains from Helsinki: From 6.01am the trains run every 20 minutes, departing from Helsinki at 1, 21 and 41 minutes past the hour.
- From the 7.01pm train onwards, a normal service will operate.
- K trains from Kerava: From 6.31am the trains run every 20 minutes, departing from Kerava at 11, 31 and 51 minutes past the hour.
- From the 7.31pm train onwards, a normal service will operate.
