The new route 105, Lauttasaari - Haukilahti - Niittykumpu - Mankkaa, will also serve the Kokinkyläntie area. The new route will considerably improve the frequency of public transport services. Even though route 115 will be withdrawn and there will no longer be a direct service from Kokinkyläntie to Tapiola, passengers can still make the journey by transferring from bus 105 to the Metro in Niittykumpu or to bus 118, 124 or 125 on Merituulentie. In addition, the buses serving Mankkaantie (buses 548 and 549) and Mankkaanlaaksontie (bus 118) will continue to provide passengers with direct services to Tapiola.
As part of the changes, the terminus of bus 114 will be relocated from Tapiola to Matinkylä. The new route is: Matinkylä (M) - Urheilupuisto (M) - Mankkaa - Kilo - Leppävaara. The section of route between Leppävaara and Urheilupuisto Metro Station will remain as is. The change enables us to provide our customers with a much-requested service from Mankkaa to Matinkylä.
The changes are part of a larger project to modify bus routes in Leppävaara and Tapiola.
