The "Ruusulankatu" stop is also served by bus 8X, which replaces tram 8.
The change is due to street work on Mannerheimintie. The work is moving to the Opera junction and the stop cannot be used. Trams will not run via the Opera summer in the summer (<a href="https://www.hsl.fi/en/hsl/news/service-updates/2024/04/changes-to-tram-services-from-3-june--tram-8-to-be-replaced-by-bus-8x-routes-of-trams-1-2-4-and-10-to-change">read more in another service update</a>) and there are also changes to pedestrian crossings.
