Updated on 26 June: Tram routes 2 and 3 to be diverted in Eira at night from 5 June

Updated on 26 June: Track and tram stop works on Laivasillankatu will cause diversions for trams 2 and 3 in Eira on 5–7 June from 8pm to 5am and on 9–12 June, 16–19 June and 23–24 June from 12 o'clock midnight to 5am and on 3-4 July and 4-5 July from 9pm to 5am. When the diversion routes are in use, the trams will only run in one direction in Eira and the stops in the opposite direction will not be served.

The diversion routes will be in use as follows:

  • 5–7 June from 8pm to 5am (Wednesday and Thursday nights)
  • 9–12 June from 12 o'clock midnight to 5am (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights)
  • 16–19 June from 12 o'clock midnight to 5am (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights)
  • 23–24 June from 12 o'clock midnight to 5am (Sunday night)
  • 3–4 July from 9pm to 5am (Wednesday night)
  • 4–5 July from 9pm to 5am (Thursday night)

The diversion routes are the same on 5–7 June, 16–19 June, 23–24 June and 3–4 July: trams 2 and 3 will only run in a counter-clockwise direction via Bulevardi and Fredrikinkatu to the Olympia Terminal. The diversion route is slightly different on 9–12 June and 4–5 July: the trams will only run in a clockwise direction via Eteläranta and the Olympia Terminal to Fredrikinkatu and Bulevardi.

Diversion routes on 5–7 June, 16–19 June, 23–24 June and 3–4 July

Trams 2 and 3 will only run in a counter-clockwise direction in southern downtown of Helsinki: via Bulevardi and Fredrikinkatu to the Olympia Terminal.

From the direction of Töölö, tram 2 will run from Mannerheimintie via Bulevardi, Fredrikinkatu and Tehtaankatu to the Olympia Terminal. From there, the tram will continue under route number 3 and run via Aleksanterinkatu to Mannerheimintie and the Helsinki Central Railway Station. From the direction of the Helsinki Central Railway Station, tram 3 will run along its normal route to the Olympia Terminal. From there, the tram will continue under route number 2.

The following stops in the opposite direction will not be served: “Ylioppilastalo” H0401, “Aleksanterinkatu” H0403, “Senaatintori” H0405, “Kauppatori” H0430, “Eteläranta” H0432, “Olympiaterminaali” H0434, “Kaivopuisto” H0436, “Neitsytpolku” H0438, “Kapteeninkatu” H0440, “Eiran sairaala” H0442, “Viiskulma” H0815, “Iso Roobertinkatu” H0813, “Fredrikinkatu” H0803, “Erottaja” H0801 and “Ylioppilastalo” H0701.

Diversion routes on 9–12 June and 4–5 July

Trams 2 and 3 will only run in a clockwise direction in southern downtown of Helsinki: via Eteläranta and the Olympia Terminal to Fredrikinkatu and Bulevardi.

From the direction of Kallio, tram 3 will run from Mannerheimintie via Aleksanterinkatu and Eteläranta to the Olympia Terminal. From there, the tram will continue to Eira under route number 2 and run along the normal route of tram 2 towards Kamppi. From the direction of Kamppi, tram 2 will run along its normal route to the Olympia Terminal. From there, the tram will continue under route number 3.

The following stops in the opposite direction will not be served: “Rautatieasema” H0302, "Mikonkatu" H0425, “Aleksanterinkatu” H0404, “Senaatintori” H0406, “Kauppatori” H0431, “Eteläranta” H0433, “Olympiaterminaali” H0435, “Kaivopuisto” H0437, “Neitsytpolku” H0439, “Kapteeninkatu” H0441, “Eiran sairaala” H0443, “Viiskulma” H0816, “Iso Roobertinkatu” H0814, “Fredrikinkatu” H0804, “Erottaja” H0802 and “Ylioppilastalo” H0702.
