Public transport will operate to special timetables from 18 June to Midsummer Day, 21 June. An additional bus service, 24S, will run between Kamppi and Seurasaari on Midsummer Eve. From Thursday 18 June to Sunday 21 June, single tickets purchased with contactless payment will cost only €2 regardless of the zones.
Special timetables
- On Thursday 18 June, a Friday service will operate. However, neighborhood routes will operate a normal Thursday service.
- On Midsummer Eve, Friday 19 June, a Saturday service will operate. U-line buses will operate a reduced service from the afternoon onwards.
- On Midsummer Day, Saturday 20 June, a Sunday service will operate. U-line buses will operate a reduced service.
Additional bus services to Seurasaari and changes to bus route 24
On Midsummer Eve, an additional bus service, 24S, will run to Seurasaari alongside bus 24.
Bus route 24 will be diverted throughout the summer. The bus runs from Kamppi via Munkkiniemi to Seurasaari along Paciuksenkatu, Ramsaynranta, Meilahdentie, Tamminiementie and Seurasaarentie. From Seurasaari to Kamppi, bus 24 runs along Merikannontie instead of Mechelininkatu.
On Midsummer Eve, bus 24S will provide additional services to Seurasaari. The bus will depart from bay 26 in Kamppi. It will otherwise follow the same route as bus 24 but will not run via Hietaniemi. The first service on route 24S will depart from Kamppi at 3.27pm, and the last service from Seurasaari will depart at 1.20am.

Contactless payment campaign from 18 to 21 June
