You can now act on behalf of your child online and order an HSL card delivered to your home

Parents can now act on behalf of their child who uses an HSL card online through their HSL account. Parents can create an HSL account for their child and add an HSL card for the child themselves. Checking the card balance is also easy, whether acting on behalf of the child or topping up the card in the Ticket Store. Ordering an HSL card will also become easier: you can now have the card delivered to your home, either for yourself or for your child, with delivery in as little as 30 minutes.

Parents can now act on behalf of their child through their HSL account. This means they can create an HSL account for a minor and add an HSL card for the child. In addition, they can see the value balance in their child’s HSL account and any valid tickets, such as a season ticket or school pass, on the child’s HSL card. Parents can also top up their children’s HSL cards in the HSL Ticket Store.

You can act on behalf of your child by first logging in to your own HSL account. To act on behalf of another person, you need to complete strong authentication and select the person on whose behalf you want to act. We use the Suomi.fi service to verify that you are the child’s guardian and are authorized to manage the child’s HSL account.

If your child does not yet have an HSL account, we will create one automatically the first time you act on their behalf. Once the account has been created and you have added an HSL card for your child, you can top up the card in the HSL Ticket Store and view the ticket expiry dates and the card's value balance there.

When acting on behalf of your child, you can also view the child’s details, such as address, home municipality, and customer group, and you can change the service language. You can see more detailed information about tickets than in the Ticket Store, such as zones and the validity days of a school pass.

A black bar at the top of the page indicates that you are acting on behalf of another person. For data protection reasons, access is more limited than in your own HSL account.

HSL card delivered to your home

You can now order an HSL card online and have it delivered to your home, without visiting a service point. Are you getting your first HSL card for yourself or your child? Has your old card been damaged or lost, and do you need a replacement? HSL cards can be ordered from seven Wolt Markets in Helsinki, Espoo, and Vantaa, with delivery in as little as 30 minutes.

You can still buy an HSL card at service points. Home delivery is a great option if you need an HSL card quickly and there is no service point nearby. Through this new partnership, we are making it easier to get around and to use our services. You can purchase and activate an HSL card whenever it suits you best.

Select a Wolt Market near you in the Wolt app. In addition to the fee charged for the HSL card, Wolt’s delivery and service fees apply. These depend, for example, on the distance to the store and the size of your order.

If you have not had an HSL card before, or if you are purchasing your child’s first card, you can activate the card online using your HSL account and by acting on your child’s behalf.

If you are ordering a replacement card for a lost card, activating the new card and cancelling the old one requires contacting our customer service. This can easily be done by message or phone.
