HSL card with home delivery
You can get an HSL card delivered to your home from Wolt Market in Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa. Did you order an HSL card for yourself or your child? Before you can start using the card, you have to activate it. On this page, you can find instructions for activating an HSL card in different situations.

How to activate the HSL card you ordered
If you have not had an HSL card before, you can activate the card online by creating an HSL account. You log in to your HSL account using your HSL credentials. How to create an HSL account and link a new HSL card to the account:
1. Go to tili.hsl.fi and click Log in or create an HSL account. Alternatively, click Log in in the top right corner of any page on our website. After that, select Create an account at the bottom of the page.
2. Fill in your details and click Continue.
3. Confirm your email address.
4. Complete strong authentication, as HSL cards are personal. Verify your identity, HSL account, customer group, and home municipality.
5. Link the HSL card to your account under Identifier. Enter the last 8 digits of your new HSL card’s number. You can find the number on the back of the card.
6. All done! You can now top up your HSL card at the Ticket Store.
If you have lost your HSL card, any value or season tickets loaded on the lost card are safe in your HSL account. However, you need to link the new card to your account and deactivate the old card. Unfortunately, changing the card is not currently available as a self-service option. We aim to make this possible for customers to do independently in the future. To activate a new card to replace an old one, you need to:
1. Contact our customer service by message or phone. Sign in before sending a message. We will deactivate the old card and link the new card to your account.
2. Alternatively, you can visit the HSL or a municipal service point. See the service point contact details.
If your child loses their HSL card, you can activate your child's card in the same way, provided the child is a minor.
If your child has not had an HSL card before, you can act on behalf of your child and link the card to your child’s HSL account. How to activate your child’s first HSL card:
1. Log in to your HSL account at tili.hsl.fi.
2. Click Act on behalf of another person.
3. Complete strong authentication. We will verify that you are the child’s guardian and are authorized to manage their account.
4. Select the child on whose behalf you want to act. An HSL account will be created for your child the first time you act on their behalf.
5. Link your child’s HSL card to their HSL account in the start view or under Identifier.
6. When acting on behalf of your child, you can view any active tickets and value in the child’s HSL account. If you want to top up your child’s HSL card, you can do this in the Ticket Store. See the instructions for topping up another person’s HSL card in the HSL Ticket Store.
