Act on behalf of your child
You can act on behalf of your minor child through your own HSL account. You can create an HSL account for your child and add an HSL card for them. In addition, you can see the value balance and valid tickets in your child’s account, such as a season ticket or school pass, view your child’s details and change the service language.
You can act on your child's behalf if they use the HSL card. If your child uses the HSL app, you cannot act on their behalf. You can read more about acting on behalf of your child on this page.

Act on behalf of your child through your HSL account
To act on behalf of another person, you need an HSL account. You also need to complete strong authentication. We use the Suomi.fi service to verify that you are the child’s guardian and are authorized to manage the child’s HSL account. If your child does not yet have an HSL account, we will create one automatically the first time you act on their behalf.
Top up your child’s HSL card in the Ticket Store
Once you have added an HSL card for your child, you can top up the card with season tickets and value in the HSL Ticket Store. Once you have added an HSL card for your child by acting on behalf of the child, you can also see the card in the HSL Ticket Store. In the future, you can check your child’s HSL card tickets and value balance in the store.
