In the morning,  the frequent service will begin 30 minutes earlier and continue 60 minutes longer. In the afternoon, the frequent service will begin 60 minutes earlier and continue 60 minutes longer than before. The Metro will run every 2.5 minutes between Itäkeskus and Tapiola about 6am to 10.15am and 1pm to 7.40pm on weekdays.

The changes are made to allow more space for passengers. Koivusaari Metro Station, which has been closed in the summer, will reopen on Thursday 6 August. Up-to-date timetables are available in the Journey Planner.
