Changes to commuter train timetables as of 30 August – exceptions to train services will no longer apply

The timetables for HSL’s commuter trains will change on Monday 30 August 2021 as the exceptions to train services that have been caused by track work at the Pukinmäki station no longer apply.

There will be changes to the timetables of HSL’s commuter trains on Monday 30 August 2021 as the exceptions to train services that have been caused by track work at the Pukinmäki station no longer apply. Commuter trains will also start running at regular intervals.

Once the track work is completed and the tracks become available, all I and P trains on the Ring Rail Line can resume serving Pukinmäki, Malmi, Tapanila and Puistola stations as usual. Starting on Monday, K trains in the direction of Kerava will also run as usual. In other words, the trains will run all the way from Helsinki to Kerava and from Kerava to Helsinki throughout the day.

Additional changes to timetables will also occur. For example, I and K trains begin running a frequent service every 10 minutes from Monday to Saturday earlier and longer than before.

The timetables of D, R, T and Z commuter trains operated by VR already underwent changes on 16 August, but there will be a further timetable change for one Z train as of 30 August: the first Z train to leave for Helsinki in the morning will depart three minutes earlier between Tikkurila and Helsinki.

More detailed information on specific trains and routes as of 30 August can be found on the HSL app and in the Journey Planner.
