Street works on Helsinginkatu will move to the next phase on Monday 30 August.
Tram 3 will resume its normal route
Tram 3 will resume its normal route via Kallio and Alppila to Meilahti.

Olympia Terminal – Eira – Railway Station – Kallio – Alppila – Meilahti
Meilahti – Alppila – Kallio – Railway Station – Eira – Olympia Terminal
The "Urheilutalo" tram stop in the direction of Olympia Terminal will move permanently from Läntinen Brahenkatu to Helsinginkatu, in front of Työväenopisto. The new stop number is H0278.
The tram will no longer serve the "Castréninkatu" (H0227 and H0228), "Kuntatalo" (H0229) and "Ensi linja" (H0230) stops along the diversion route.
Diversion route of tram 8 to be shortened
Tram 8 will run between Jätkäsaari and Opera.
At the Opera, tram 8 will serve stops H0107 and H0108 on Mannerheimintie.
The tram will no longer serve the following stops along the former diversion route to Meilahti:
"Töölön halli" (H0109 and H0110), "Kansaneläkelaitos" (H0111 and H0112), "Töölön tulli" (H0133 and H0134), "Jalavatie" (H0135 and H0136) and "Kuusitie" (H0132 and H0137).

Tram routes 1 and 8 will be diverted until 3 October. Replacement bus 8X, Opera (Mäntymäki) – Sörnäinen (M) – Arabia, will also run until 3 October.

Eira – Railway Station – Kallio – Sörnäinen (M) – Käpylä
Käpylä – Sörnäinen (M) – Kallio – Railway Station – Eira
Route of replacement bus 8X:

Alternative transport links
Bus 8X replaces trams 1 and 8 between Töölö and Sörnäinen. Also bus routes 70 and 502 provide alternative links. Trunk bus routes 500 and 510 run from Sörnäinen via Aleksis Kiven katu to, e.g. Töölön tulli and Meilahti. Use the Journey Planner to find alternative links.
Alternative transport links to Linnanmäki
Public transport services to the north of Linnanmäki will run as usual from 30 August.
To the south of Linnanmäki, tram services are replaced by replacement bus 8X, crosstown bys route 502 and on weekdays bus route 70 to Kamppi.
