A and K trains to run every 20 minutes on Friday 4 February from 3pm

Commuter trains will operate a reduced service on Friday 4 February from approximately 3pm onwards due to heavy snow fall that is predicted to hit Southern Finland over the weekend. Every other A and K train will be cancelled and the trains will run every 20 minutes. According to estimate, A trains will return to their regular schedules approximately around 6pm and K trains around 7pm.

The precautions are taken so that the train tracks can be cleared of heavy snow.

During the reduced service, A trains will run every 20 minutes as follows:

    • from Helsinki: at 3, 23 and 43 minutes past the hour between 3.03pm and 6.03pm
    • from Leppävaara: at 6, 26 and 46 minutes past the hour between 3.26pm and 6.26pm

During the reduced service, K trains will run every 20 minutes as follows:

    • from Helsinki: at 1, 21 and 41 minutes past the hour between 3.01pm and 7.01pm
    • from Kerava: at 11, 31 and 51 minutes past the hour between 3.51pm and 7.31pm
