Changes to I, P, K and T train services and replacement bus 699X at night between Sun 27 March and Fri 1 April

There will be changes to I, P, K and T train services at night time between Sunday 27 March and Friday 1 April due to track work. From Sunday to Thursday, the four last I trains will be cancelled and one K train will be cancelled between Kerava and Tikkurila. In addition, some T trains will run through stations between Pukinmäki and Savio without stopping. Bus 699X will replace train services to intermediate stations between Helsinki, Tikkurila and Kerava. On the night of Thursday to Friday, one P train and one K train will also run through some stations without stopping.

There will be changes to I, P, K and T train services at night time between Sunday 27 March and Friday 1 April due to track work.

From Sunday to Thursday, the four last I trains will be cancelled and one K train will be cancelled between Kerava and Tikkurila. In addition, some T trains will run through stations between Pukinmäki and Savio without stopping. Bus 699X will replace train services to intermediate stations between Helsinki, Tikkurila and Kerava.

On the night of Thursday to Friday, one P train and one K train will also run through some stations without stopping.

Between Sunday 27 March and Thursday 31 March

  • I trains from Helsinki at 10.06pm, 10.36pm, 11.06pm and 11.36pm will be cancelled. In other words, the last I train from Helsinki will depart at 9.36pm. The train will depart from Helsinki Airport via Myyrmäki and Huopalahti to Helsinki at 10.04pm.
  • Alternative transport links:
    • On the main line, you can take a K train to stations between Helsinki and Hiekkaharju. Between 10.14pm and 11.51pm, K trains from Helsinki will have extra carriages.
    • On the Ring Rail Line, you can take a P train going in the opposite direction to get from stations between Pohjois-Haaga and Leinelä to Helsinki. P trains will run as usual. AB tickets will exceptionally be accepted on journeys from stations between Pohjois-Haaga and Vantaankoski via zone C to Helsinki.
    • There are also regular HSL buses that run from locations between Pohjois-Haaga and Leinelä to Helsinki. Use the Journey Planner to search for these bus connections.
    • If you are travelling from Huopalahti or Ilmala to Helsinki, use the coastal line trains.
  • On the night of Tuesday 29 March/Wednesday 30 March, the 0.51am K train from Helsinki will run through Korso and Savio stations without stopping.
  • T trains from Helsinki at 1.51am and from Riihimäki at 2.55am (from Jokela at 3.09am and from Kerava at 3.32am), will run through Pukinmäki, Malmi, Tapanila, Puistola, Hiekkaharju, Koivukylä and Rekola stations without stopping. On the nights of Monday 28 March/Tuesday 29 March and of Tuesday 29 March/Wednesday 30 March, the same T trains will also run through Korso and Savio stations without stopping.
  • The 4.04am K train from Kerava will be cancelled between Kerava and Tikkurila, i.e. the train will depart from Tikkurila at 4.19am.

On the night of Thursday 31 March/Friday 1 April

  • The 1.22am P train from Helsinki Airport to Helsinki will run through Puistola, Tapanila, Malmi and Pukinmäki stations without stopping.
  • T trains from Helsinki at 1.51am and from Riihimäki at 2.55am (from Jokela at 3.09am and from Kerava at 3.32am), will run through Pukinmäki, Malmi, Tapanila, Puistola, Hiekkaharju, Koivukylä and Rekola stations without stopping.
  • The 4.04am K train from Kerava will be cancelled between Kerava and Tikkurila, i.e. the train will depart from Tikkurila at 4.19am. The train will depart from platform 1. In addition, the train will run through Puistola, Tapanila, Malmi and Pukinmäki stations without stopping.

Bus 699X, Helsinki–Tikkurila–Kerava

The first buses to Kerava will depart each night from Pukinmäki. On the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, there will one an additional service before the bus departing from Pukinmäki. The last northbound buses will depart from Elielinaukio.

Buses to Elielinaukio, Helsinki, will depart from Kerava station. However, on the night of Thursday to Friday, there will be an additional service from Tikkurila before the buses from Kerava.

The buses will stop at all intermediate stations except Hiekkaharju. In Hiekkaharju, the buses will stop at “Malmimäki” bus stops next to Hiekkaharju School on Talvikkitie. At other stations, the buses will stop at the stops designated for replacement buses. You can check the locations of the stops for replacement buses on the map posters at stations. You can use the same tickets as for the trains. If you have a valid ticket, you can board the replacement bus also using the middle doors and you do not need to show your ticket to the driver.

  • From Elielinaukio, bay 29: at 1.51.am
  • From Pukinmäki, bay 12, i.e. the bus stop on Ring Road I under the station: at 1.36am and 2.14am
  • From Tikkurila, bay 14: at 1.17am (only on Tuesday night), 1.57am and 2.35am

To Elielinaukio

  • From Kerava, bay 12: at 3.09am, 3.33am and 3.46am
  • From Tikkurila, bay 7: at 1.36am (only on Thursday night), 3.35am, 3,59am and 4.12am
