The track failure was fixed sooner than expected and commuter trains are running normally. Trains may still be shorter than normal.

Due to a track failure at Ilmala depot, there was a high risk for numerous cancelled commuter train services on Wednesday morning 6 April.

Cancelled services show in the Journey Planner by route as the information is updated in the system. Cancelled services do not show in the route suggestions. You can see all cancelled trains here

There are alternative bus links from may stations. You can search for them using the Journey Planner; exclude trains from your search by unchecking the relevant box. A list of stations and bus routes serving them.

The failure is being fixed but it is possible that it will continue to affect services on Wednesday afternoon. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
