Changes to public transport on Sat 11 June due to Helsinki Half Marathon

There will be changes to public transport services on Saturday 11 June about 8am to 11am due to Helsinki Half Marathon. The event will affect buses serving Elielinaukio, buses 55, 56 and 59 as well as tram routes 1, 6, 7 and 9.

There will be changes to public transport services on Saturday 11 June about 8am to 11am due to Helsinki Half Marathon. The run starts from the Töölönlahti Park at about 8.15am.

 

Changes to bus services

  • Töölönlahdenkatu about 8.15am to 8.25am: Delays to buses to/from Elielinaukio around the start of the race.
  • Ruoholahdenranta about 8.20am to 8.40am: Delays to bus route 22.
  • Hietalahdenranta about 8.20am to 8.45am: Delays to bus route 22.
  • Parrulaituri about 8.55am to 10.25am: Delays to bus route 59
  • Runners cross Hermannin rantatie at Vanha talvitie about 9.10am to 11am: Potential delays to bus routes 55 and 56.
    • The bus will the “Teollisuuskatu” (2105) and “Pasilansilta” (2102) stops along the diversion route.
    • The “Jämsänkatu” (H0661 and 2172), “Asemapäällikönkatu” (H0662) and “Junailijankuja” (H2165) stops will not be served.

 

Changes to tram services

  • Ruoholahdenranta about 8.20am to 8.40am: Delays to tram routes 7 and 9.
  • Hietalahdenranta about 8.20am to 8.45am: Delays to tram route 6
  • Telakkakatu between Punavuorenranta and Hernesaarenkatu about 8.25am to 8.50am: Delays to tram routes 1 and 6.
  • Merisotilaantori about 8.40am to 9.40am:  Delays to tram route 4.
  • Junction of Teollisuuskatu and Jämsänkatu about 9.05am to 11am: Delays to tram routes 7 and 9.
