The route of bus 118 will change between Suurpelto and Tapiola. In the future, the bus will run via the Orion employment area and Urheilupuisto Metro Station. The change will enable a more straightforward service from Espoon keskus to Orion and Tapiola Sports Park. The area of Olarinluoma will be served by a new route, 105, Lauttasaari - Westend - Haukilahti - Niittykumpu - Mankkaa.
In addition, the terminus of route 114 will be relocated from Tapiola to Matinkylä. This will replace route 112, Tapiola - Niittykumpu - Haukilahti - Matinkylä, that is to be withdrawn. The new route will run from Matinkylä terminal via Haukilahdenranta and Niittykumpu Metro Station to Mankkaa and further via Kilo to Leppävaara.
The changes are part of a larger project to modify bus routes in Leppävaara and Tapiola.
