A new, more personal hsl.fi

We have been developing HSL.fi to offer a more personalized service, so that you can keep up-to-date with the public transport matters that concern you.

The updated route search and nearby stops function makes it easier to find the route and timetables that are right for you – whether you are travelling by public transport, walking or cycling.

The starting point for the reshaped service has been the needs and wishes of our customers.

 

Keep up to date

After logging in, you can immediately see on the service’s front page the service changes and other topical issues that are relevant to you.

You can add areas, stops and routes that are important to you on the My options page.

Finding more easily the best route for you

The route search function now shows you the stages of the journey in a clearer way in order to make it easier for you to choose the most suitable public transport route.

You can also decide whether cycling or walking is the best choice for you based on the duration of the trip and weather information. Alternatively, you can now also combine cycling with public transport.

Check the current service situation

From the Services page, you can easily check the current service situation.

By selecting the means of transport that you regularly use, you will only see information that is relevant to you. You can also search for a specific route, stop or area.

Nearby stops and routes

The new Nearby stops and routes section provides the most convenient way to see which means of transport you should use for a familiar route. With one click, you can view on a map the stop-specific timetables and vehicles in your nearby area.

Try out this function to see which bus routes you are close to right now.    

More speed and ease of use

Your customer details at a glance

In the My information section, you can view all the information related to your customer account in one place. You can, for example, view or top up your HSL card, edit your customer details, and add important areas, stops, and routes.

Customer service

From the new customer service page, you can get help quickly and easily find the most suitable way to make contact. 

Lost property

Left your mobile on a bus or your wallet on a commuter train? From the Lost property page you can find information about who to contact.

Park & Ride locations on map

Find the nearest bicycle park or car park from the map on the Park & Ride page. For some of these, you can also see the number of available spaces.

In addition, we have also made a number of other changes to the service to make it easier to use. The development work does not end here, of course, as there is still plenty more coming up!
