Nearly all ticket machines at Park & Ride sites out of use in Vantaa in January

The City of Vantaa is replacing all ticket machines at Park & Ride sites in the city with new ones. Consequently, nearly all ticket machines at the Park & Ride sites are out of use for the month of January. However, at the Martinlaakso Park & Ride, the ticket machine is in use as usual. Ticket machines will be introduced at all Park & Ride sites in Vantaa in phases.

Ticket machines are out of use at the Park & Ride sites in Tikkurila, Myyrmäki, Leinelä and Rekola. In January, you can park your car at these Park & Ride sites for free for 12 hours. You do not need a public transport ticket to park your car. Use a parking disc to display your arrival time.

Changes to Park & Ride parking in Vantaa

  • In the future, a public transport ticket will be required for parking at all Park & Ride sites in Vantaa. Alternatively, you can pay a parking fee of EUR 5.
  • At the Park & Ride sites in Myyrmäki, Louhela, Vantaankoski and Tikkurila, a parking fee of EUR 1 is required in addition to a public transport ticket.
  • The maximum parking time is extended to 16 hours at all parking sites. For an extra fee, you can park for 24 or 48 hours.

The changes have already taken effect at Tikkurila, Myyrmäki, Rekola and Leinelä stations. At the Louhela, Vantaankoski and Kivistö Park & Ride sites, the changes will take effect on 24 January. In Hiekkaharju, Koivukylä, Korso, Vehkala and Martinlaakso, the changes will take effect in March.
