Disposable cardboard cards for companies cannot be used after 31 December

Single and day tickets in the form of disposable cardboard cards that businesses, schools and various groups could order in advance were replaced by QR code tickets in September. If you still have these cardboard cards, please note that they can be used only until 31 December 2025. We recommend ordering new tickets well in advance, as the delivery time for the tickets is 14 days. Unused cardboard cards can be exchanged for new tickets starting 1 January 2026.

In September, we overhauled ticket purchasing and usage, as well as our backend systems. Following the overhaul, single and day tickets in the form of disposable cardboard cards that businesses, schools and various groups could order in advance were replaced by QR code tickets.

If your company has these cardboard cards, please note that they can be used only until 31 December 2025. If any cards remain unused, you can exchange them for new equivalent tickets starting 1 January 2026. The cards can be exchanged until 30 September 2027. On 1 January 2026, we will include a form for exchanging unused tickets for new ones on this page. Unused disposable cardboard cards will be exchanged for ticket codes in the HSL app or new QR code tickets in paper form that you show to a card reader. The processing time is about 4 weeks. We will not replace cards whose validity period has ended in or before 2025.

We recommend ordering new single and day tickets in paper form well before the use of disposable cardboard cards ends. The delivery time for the tickets is approximately 14 days.

It was possible to order disposable cardboard cards until 10 September.

Single and day tickets in paper form now have a QR code. To activate the ticket, show it to a card reader with the QR code facing up.
