School passes are for school journeys and are issued by the child’s home municipality. For more information, please contact your school secretary. If your child receives a school pass sticker from their school or home municipality, they can use it to travel during the school pass hours: on school days between 4.30am and 6pm. On the blue buses, your child must show the sticker to the driver. On other modes of transport, they can simply board the vehicle. Please remind your child to present the sticker to a ticket inspector if requested.
Please note that some municipalities may load the school pass onto your child’s HSL card as usual. Instructions for using the school pass will be provided by your child's school or home municipality.
