The transition will begin on Sunday evening, 21 September, at around 10pm. The large ticket machines will be permanently removed from use, and the use of multi-user HSL cards, as well as personal HSL cards that have not been used since the beginning of 2023, will end. The transition to the new backend system coincides with the Car Free Day, 22 September. To mark the occasion and make it easier to buy tickets while sales points are unavailable, we will reduce the prices of tickets purchased with contactless payment. The discount will be valid from Sunday, 21 September 10pm until Wednesday, 24 September 10am. This is a great opportunity to try contactless payment. For example, an AB single ticket will cost just €1.60 and an ABC ticket €2.20. We want to ensure that customers entitled to discounted fares can purchase their tickets using contactless payment during these days without any extra cost.
