Earlier in the morning the Metro did not run between Siilitie and Kulosaari due to a switch failure. On other sections of line services were running at irregular headways.

Where possible, use buses 500, 510, 550 and 560 to train stations:
Trunk bus route 500 from Itäkeskus and Herttoniemi to Kalasatama, Sörnäinen and Pasila station
Trunk bus route 510 from Herttoniemi to Kalasatama, Sörnäinen and Pasila station
Trunk bus route 550 from Itäkeskus to Oulunkylä station
Bus 54 from Itäkeskus to Pukinmäki station. Buses 554 and 561 from Itäkeskus to Malmi station.
Trunk bus route 560 from Vuosaari, Mellunmäki and Kontula to Malmi station
Use the Journey Planner to find alternative transport links, untick the metro option in the settings.
The disruption is expected to continue throughout the morning.
