Tram routes 2, 7 and 9 will be diverted from Monday 10 April due to the construction of a tramway from Kalasatama to Pasila. There will be no tram services in Itä-Pasila until the end of September. Replacement bus 7X will run between Pasila station, Sörnäinen and Kallio.
Changes to tram services from Monday 10 April
- Tram 2 will not run to Pasila station. Instead, the tram will run straight along Pasilankatu to Ilmala. The tram will resume 10-minute headways.
- Tram 7 will not run to Länsi-Pasila. The tram will run from Hakaniemi via Kallio and Sturenkatu to Vallila depot.
- Replacement bus 7X will run from Karhupuisto via Sörnäinen and Mäkelänkatu to Pasila station.
- Tram 9 will not run to Ilmala. The tram will run from Hakaniemi to the terminus on Ensi Linja.
- The timetables of trams 1, 3, 6 and 8 will change, but there will be no route changes. The trams will resume 10-minute headways.

Please note that 10 April is Easter Monday so if you are looking for weekday timetables, set the search date e.g. to 11 April.

Changes by route
Tram 2, Olympia Terminal – Ilmala
Tram 2 will run to Ilmala via Pasilankatu, Radiokatu and Ilmalankuja. The stops at Pasila station and Itä-Pasila will not be served.

Tram 7, Länsiterminaali (West Terminal) – Vallila
Tram 7 will run from Hakaniemi via Siltasaarenkatu, Porthaninkatu, Viides linja, Kaarlenkatu, Helsinginkatu, Läntinen Brahenkatu, Sturenkatu and Hämeentie to the Vallila depot. The tram will depart in the direction of the city center from the “Vallilan varikko” stop (H0319).
Replacement bus 7X will serve Sörnäinen, Mäkelänkatu and Pasila station. We advise passengers to change between tram and bus at Karhupuisto. The bus stop is located on Agricolankatu, at the Fleminginkatu junction. Tram stops are on the other side of the park.

Replacement bus 7X, Kallio – Sörnäinen – Pasila
Replacement bus 7x will replace tram 7 between Sörnäinen and Pasila. The bus will depart from the “Karhupuisto” stop (H2424) in Kallio.
In Pasila, the bus will depart from the “Pasilan asema” stop (H2358), which is opposite the tram stops on the other side of Ratapihantie. The bus will run in Itä-Pasila clockwise (Asemapäällikönkatu – Ratapihantie – Rautatieläisenkatu – Ratamestarinkatu).
In Sörnäinen, the bus will stop at bay 15 in the direction of Pasila. In the other direction, the bus will serve the “Harjutori” stop (H2151).
You can board the replacement bus using the middle doors. If you have a valid ticket, you do not need to show your ticket to the driver or a card reader. Put your arm out to stop the bus.
